What we collect

Your name and either a mobile number or an email address. For each child you add: a first name, class, approximate age, district, school, an approximate exam-result band, favourite subjects and the answers given to our questionnaire. From you: bands describing your household income, education budget, social category and connectivity. We ask for bands rather than exact figures on purpose.

Why we collect it

To work out which education paths your child is eligible for, which your family could afford, which exist within travelling distance, and which scholarships you may be able to claim. That is all. We do not build an advertising profile of you or your child.

What we never do

• We never sell your data, or your child’s.
• We never show advertisements on any page about your child, and never to a signed-in child.
• We never share a child’s profile with a college, a coaching centre or an agent.
• We never accept payment from an institution to appear in your recommendations.

Children’s data

A child under 13 does not get their own login. Their information sits under their parent or guardian’s account, and the parent controls it. We record a specific consent, naming the child, before storing their details and before asking them any questions.

Trusted helpers

You may give a teacher, relative or volunteer limited, time-limited access to help you. A helper can never edit your child’s details, see your household income answers, or delete anything. You can withdraw their access at any moment.

Automated wording

If you allow it, we use an automated service to put our already-calculated results into simpler language. It is never permitted to produce a fee, an eligibility rule, a salary or a deadline — those come from our own verified data. You can switch this off in your account and nothing factual will change.

Your rights

You can download everything we hold about you and your children, correct it, or delete your account entirely. Deleting removes your children’s profiles, their answers, your reports and your plans. We keep only the minimum payment records the law requires.

How long we keep things

Child data is retained for three years from your last activity, then anonymised, unless you delete it sooner.
